This is part of Aizkora, a project I developed in 2022 that explores the idea of hair as a language. It reflects on the importance of hair within the Basque Country, and how it functions not only as a personal or aesthetic feature, but also as a cultural signifier.
In this context, hair becomes more than material—it is art, it is sculpture, and it is culture. Through Aizkora, I investigate how something so intimate and bodily can simultaneously operate as a collective code, carrying history, identity, and meaning across different forms of expression.
