Sheep Hair Installation
Installation of raw sheep wool remnants and a bundle of human hair, suspended directly on the wall as sculptural forms. The contrasting materials—light, loose masses of wool and the dense, dark strands of human hair—create a visual dialogue between human and animal bodies, emphasizing both their differences and their shared material origins.
Detached from the living beings to which they once belonged, the fibers become traces of presence, carrying associations of care, labor, transformation, and mortality. The work explores the symbolic and physical relationships between species, questioning the boundaries that separate human identity from the natural world. Through the use of organic matter in its unprocessed state, the installation highlights notions of vulnerability, memory, and coexistence, inviting viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of living bodies and the materials they leave behind.
